Mathieu Mauron is a self-taught painter born in 1987 in Charmey from the canton of Fribourg. From a very young age, he started drawing and became interested in interior design.
His creations are focused on artistic thinking, the harmony of colors and the subtle effects on matter. Mountains gave him a fascination for nature, wildlife and landscapes. It is from these mountains that he finds inspiration for his figurative paintings. The material is shaped, worked and tested to offer an abstract aspect to his compositions. His artwork is signed Matuzon.
